At Tribe they experienced huge growth over a short space of time and a rapid increase in headcount. This resulted in inconsistency around process and expected service levels not always being met. “Our process was very admin heavy and time consuming, e.g. all application acknowledgement emails were required to be sent manually and were not customised to the roles applied for. Similarly, decline emails required a manual three step process (review, email and status change). Both instances, exposing us to human error. Candidates could also be left on a status and forgotten about when the role was placed or closed”, explained Chelsi.

For Tribe, all applications made online required a manual move from Web Response to Application not allowing for one list visibility. They were also using a number of different tools for EDM’s, NPS etc, of which none integrated with Bullhorn.

In all cases they were exposed to human error and each action required was time consuming for consultants. “We have a goal of creating daylight between us and our competitors and providing automation and communication relief around admin heavy tasks has resulted in a better, more informed and personalised candidate experience and allows consultants the time to do what they’re good at”.

With the implementation of Bullhorn Automation, Tribe’s workflows are “more streamlined and user friendly”. “There has been a visible increase in candidate engagement. We have achieved consistency across all consultants in terms of their workflow and the ‘safety net’ in automated communications has resulted in a more positive candidate experience – giving time back to consultants” said Chelsi.

“We have gained more information upfront from candidate’s at application stage (via surveys), which makes for a more streamlined and informed initial screening phase” said Chelsi, this coupled with “automated candidate check-ins via surveys, allowing candidates to fill their own data back into our database, keeping our records dynamic and up to date” has seen amazing results for the team. “Quite simply, it is hard to imagine life without Bullhorn Automation! There is no doubt Bullhorn Automation has increased our overall efficiency and has also positively impacted our candidate and client experience” said Chelsi. The Future

At Tribe, “The more time we spend within Bullhorn Automation, the more knowledge we have around what we can do and how we automate our ‘busywork’, allowing us to focus on the areas where human interaction is a necessity” said Chelsi. “We are looking forward to exploring the new semantic job match feature to see how this can help us in future”.
